Betty Ann Sinsel Glover

Betty Ann Sinsel Glover, 67, of Mannington, went to be with Lord on Wednesday (Nov. 28, 2012) at her residence with her loving family and friends by her side.

Betty was born on Jan. 25, 1945, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late John E. Sinsel and Orela Melita Ringler Sinsel.

Betty is survived by her children, Randy Martin and his wife Teresa of Parkersburg, Melita Miller of Fairmont, John Haught and his wife Vonda of Mannington, Helen Davis of Mannington, with whom Betty made her home, and Sara Glover and companion Jim Cobb of Fairmont.

In addition to her children, Betty is survived her eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, John Sinsel and his wife Helen of Weirton; her nephews, John M. Sinsel of Morgantown and Jim Sinsel and his wife Valerie of New Baltimore, Mich. Betty is survived by her former husband Eli Glover of Fairmont and her several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and close friends, and a very special friend, Matt Smith of Farmington.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her infant sister, Nancy Louise Sinsel, and her very special friend of 44 years, Louis Gay Meadows.

Betty was a volunteer with both Marion County Rescue Squad and Grant Town EMS. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her pets, crocheting, playing games like cards and Yahtzee. Betty enjoyed gardening. Betty was a Methodist by faith.

Betty’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice Care and the entire staff of Fairmont General Hospital, who always took care of her. Betty would also like to thank the staff of Marion County Rescue Squad and Grant Town EMS as well for their love and support during her illness. Betty will be sadly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at Masters Funeral Home, 209 East Main St., Mannington, today at 10 a.m. with Rev. Greg Roth and Pastor Mark Osborn officiating. Interment will follow at the BlueMont Cemetery in Grafton.
