Katherine L. (Toothman) Miller, 81, of Millersville Community, Fairmont, passed away Monday (Nov. 26, 2012) at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born in Baxter on Jan. 19, 1931, a daughter of the late Buss and Vada Toothman.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Noland R. Miller, in May 2003.
Katherine was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Coon’s Run Baptist Church and was proud of the fact that she was an election worker. She loved attending her church and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Katherine is survived by two sons, Donnie Miller and his wife Mary Sue of Fairmont, and Rusty Miller and his wife Patty of Abolene, Texas; one daughter, Kathy Weber and her husband Tom of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren, Shawn Miller, Brian Miller, Julie Price, Jennifer Weber and Teresa Weber; and several great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a niece, Patty Ann Toothman; and a special cousin, Robert Morris.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Toothman.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont with Pastor Benny Simmons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Coon’s Run Baptist Church, Route 2 Box 318, Shinnston, WV 26431.
Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, has been entrusted with all arrangements.
