FAIRMONT —
James Leon Hinerman, 69, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (June 23, 2012) at Meadows Ponds Golf Course in Morgantown.
James was born Dec. 10, 1942 in Glover Gap, the son of the late James Edwin and Aaretta Louise Wilson Hinerman.
James was a former employee of Brake Drum, FMC Corp. and Mon Power Co., and retired from NAPA Auto Parts. James attended Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont, enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling, and was an avid golfer.
James is survived by his wife, Karen Karikas Hinerman; three brothers, David Hinerman and his wife Diane of Washington Pa., Robert Glenn Hinerman of El Toro, Calif., and John Hinerman and his wife Janet of Fairmont; two sisters, Betty Doak and her husband Bill of Washington, Pa., and Twila Hawk of Fairmont; mother-in-law, Jean Karikas of Pennsylvania; and three sisters-in-law, Kay Danna and her husband Joseph of Pennsylvania, Krissee Lindsey and her husband Jackie of Pennsylvania, and Sandy Hinerman of Pennsylvania. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his father-in–law, Colman Karikas Jr.; and a brother, Gail Francis “Pooch” Hinerman.
Friends and family may call at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
