Rhonda Sue Quinn Morgan, 41, of Worthington, passed away Wednesday (Dec. 26, 2012) at Ruby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born April 12, 1971, the daughter of the late Frank Donald Quinn and Brenda Joyce Craig Quinn of Worthington.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Dennis Morgan, after 11 years of marriage. They have two daughters, Frankie Marie Gabor and Ginna Lee Quinn at home.
She is also survived by two brothers, Donald Stephen Quinn and partner Misty Quinn of Shinnston, and Jeffrey Allen Quinn and wife Sherry of Four States; two brothers-in-law, Roger Morgan of Worthington and Doug Morgan of Harrisburg, Pa.; mother-in-law, Judy Cunningham of Worthington; two nieces and one nephew; and two great-nieces and four great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Virginia Quinn; maternal grandparents, Okey and Betty Craig; father-in-law, Robert Morgan; and one niece, Nicole Markley.
She started as a CNA and got her LPN license and worked at St Barbara’s Nursing Home and Wishing Well Health Center where she retired due to illness. She worked at several other nursing homes in the area previously. She loved her family and kids and took special pride in her job, mainly working with elderly patients. She attended United Methodist Church at Enterprise.
Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, where services will be held with Pastor Brian Plum officiating. Interment will follow in Whetstone Cemetery.
