Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Lapinsky

Charlotte “Lottie” Lapinsky, 91, of Rachel, passed away Friday (July 6, 2012) at her residence.

She was born Jan. 30, 1921 at Farmington, a daughter of the late Warren and Ellen Beuglas Fletcher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lapinsky.

She is survived by her sons, Walter and wife Carole Lapinsky of Charleston, S.C., Jospeh F. and wife Nancy Lapinsky of Gulf Shores, Ala., and Richard L. and wife Kathy Lapinsky of Morgantown.

 Also surviving are grandchildren, Melissa Beaver and Jerry Beaver of Charlotte, N.C., Tiffany Lynn Lapinsky of Charlotte, N.C., Marlissa Lapinsky and Natalie Lapinsky, and Lt. Christopher Lapinsky and wife Heather of Colorado, Springs, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Payton McKensie Beaver, and Lexi, Luke, Logan and Lauren Lapinsky.

Brothers and sisters include Clarence Curtis Fletcher, William Beuglas Fletcher, John Fletcher, James Fletcher, Dorothy Fletcher, George Henry Fletcher, Sarah Ellen Fletcher, Edward Snowball Fletcher, Helen Marita Fletcher, Betty Jean Napalo, Robert Ronald Fletcher and Joseph Thomas Fletcher. She also is survived by her caregiver, Phyllis Perkins of Rachel.

Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, from 5-8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Viewpoint Cemetery in Rachel.
