— Ida May Clark, 80, of Grassy Run Community, Fairmont, and formerly of Farmington, passed away Saturday (June 30, 2012) at Conchetta’s Home Health.
She was born in Marion County on Jan. 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Glenn and Ethel (Reed) Pride.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Clark, in 1991.
Ida May was a homemaker. In her earlier years she had worked as a house cleaner. She was a Protestant by faith and attended the Methodist church. She was active with the Marion County Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed embroidery, watching television and listening to music.
She is survived by five brothers, Willis Pride of Fairmont, George Pride of Fairmont, Ervin Pride and his wife Judy of Ravenswood, James Pride of Fairmont and Ernest Pride of Doylestown, Ohio; one sister, Barbara Edgell and her husband Orie of Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Pride, and a sister, Mary Louise Pride.
Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 1-8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. Earl Klein officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
