Kathleen Huey

Kathleen Patricia Huey, 69, of Mannington, passed away Saturday (Oct. 27, 2012) at Fairmont General Hospital.

She was born March 16, 1943 at Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Andrew Regis and Margaret Foley Kelly.

She is survived by a daughter, SMSGT Colleen and husband James Garra of Georgia; a son, Robert Michael Huey and wife Jennifer of Mannington; grandchildren, Bryan Egress of Rivesville, Scott Egress of Rachel, Marissa Huey of Mannington, Joey Huey of North Carolina and Seane Garra of Georgia; a daughter-in-law, Heather Huey of North Carolina; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Shane and Ayden Egress; several nieces and nephews; one sister, Margaret Hamilton of Pennsylvania; and two brothers, Andrew Kelly and Edward Kelly of Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Emerson Huey; a son, SSG Sean Huey, who was killed in Iraq; a sister, Maureen Kelly; and two brothers, William Kelly and Gerard Kelly.

Kathleen was a Christian mother and a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church in Fredericktown, Pa.

At the request of Kathleen, cremation was chosen as her final method of disposition, with no funeral home visitation.

Masters Funeral Home in Mannington is in charge of arrangements.
