James R. Emerick Sr.

Times West Virginian

James R. Emerick Sr., 76, passed away in his sleep Friday (Feb. 8, 2013) at his residence in Junction City, Ore.

He was born Dec. 4, 1936, in Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Emerick, and his first wife, Peggy Emerick.

He is survived by his wife, Marge Emerick; sons, Charles and wife Darlene Emerick of Manassas, Va., and James and wife Kartina Emerick of Grant Town; and daughters, Jean and husband Doug Tryon of Florida, and Julie and husband John Copen of Georgia. There are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are his sister, Patricia and husband Dan Kelly of Pennsylvania and their families; and brother, Jack and wife Dorothy Emerick of Pennsylvania and their families.
