Mary Jones

Mary May Jones, 67, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (Feb. 2, 2013) at the John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center.

The daughter of the late Ormus and Sarah Jean Seccuro May, she was born at Fairmont General Hospital on Aug. 15, 1945.

Mary is survived by her son, David H. Jones Jr. of Sierra Madre, Calif.; and her brother, Robert Roseberry of Fairmont.

She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School, and was the prom queen her senior year and drum majorette of the Polar Bear Marching Band. A 1966 graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Mary was a registered nurse specializing in cardiac intensive care and served in that capacity at several area hospitals.

A private memorial service out of state is planned.
