Nellie (Louise) Deusenberry

Nellie (Louise) Deusenberry passed away Wednesday, (Jan. 30, 2013) at Sundale Nursing Home, Palliative Care Unit.

Louise was born March 8, 1923, in Morgantown, to the late Ralph McGee and Marie McGee Lozak. Louise lived in the Star City area before moving to the Brewer Hill area where she met and married Wallace L. Deusenberry, who passed away in 1994 after 53 years of marriage.

Louise was a housewife and later (to help ends meet) worked at Davis Lynch Glass Factory until her retirement. She was an excellent seamstress and loved her flowers, craft works and cooking.

Survivors include Judie and spouse Joe Migaiolo of Star City; Ron and spouse Becky Deusenberry of Morgantown; Don and spouse Melody Deusenberry of Fairmont; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived her sister, Dorothy Danser of Fontana, Calif.; and sister-in-law, Jane Deusenberry of Brewer Hill. Louise had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins from New York to California.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. today at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home and again from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Loretta Lee officiating. Due to inclement weather, there will not be a service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Morgantown Hospice, 1063 Maple Dr, Morgantown, WV 26505  or the Palliative Care Unit at Sundale Nursing Home, 800 JD Anderson Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505.
