Ralph Ashcraft

Ralph Ashcraft, 62, of Fairmont, formerly of the Wadestown area, died Saturday (Oct. 27, 2012) in the Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Facility.

He was born July 31, 1950 at Burton, a son of the late John Lewis Ashcraft and Marcella Statler Ashcraft.

Ralph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Hundred High School.

Surviving are two sons, Dayton Ashcraft and companion Charlena Eddy, and Dustin Ashcraft, both of Wadestown; two daughters, Tammy Lehnoff of Missouri and Jeannie Barker of Mannington; five brothers, John Ashcraft of New Cumberland, Charles Ashcraft of Weirton, Roger Ashcraft of Paradise, Pa., James Patrick Ashcraft of Fairmont and Ricky Ashcraft of Burton; one sister, Shirley Crane of Fairmont; his best friend, Ed Moore of Wadestown; 12 grandchildren; 18 nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends may call at Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour at 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Brian Plum officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
