Lady Falcons looking to rebound at home

FAIRMONT — The Fairmont State women’s basketball team is back at home — with the hopes of bouncing back.

The Lady Falcons, who saw their two-game winning streak snapped in a 72-62 league loss to West Liberty on Saturday, host non-conference Washington Adventist University at 6 p.m. Monday at the Joe Retton Arena.

With three games left before the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament begins, FSU (16-9) is looking for a little late-season momentum. It is something that has eluded the team so far, as the Lady Falcons are 5-5 in their past 10 games and haven’t won three in a row since a six-game run to start the new calendar year.
