Undefeated Polar Bears face Indians; North travels to Elkins

FAIRMONT — The showdown the state has been waiting to see will take place tonight at Wayne Jaimson Field in Bridgeport.

Two undefeated Top 5 teams will meet when the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears travel south down I-79 to take on the Bridgeport Indians.

Both teams have dominated the competition this year, and the winner of this game should have smooth sailing toward completing the undefeated season.

It’ll be high-powered offense against high-powered offense in this sure-to-be instant classic.

The Bears come into the game sporting Kennedy Award candidate Logan Moore under center, a receiving corps that is considered one of the deepest in the state and a 1-2 punch at running back from Remington Skarzinski and Desmond Evans that opponents have been unable to handle.
