FAIRMONT — In a match-up that mirrors next week’s East-West game between East Fairmont High School and Fairmont Senior High School, tonight’s showdown between West Fairmont Middle School and East Fairmont Junior High appears to be a little lopsided.
The Bears come into the game with an undefeated record and sporting a high-powered offense. The EFJH Hornets are 1-5-1 on the season and are nursing injuries to three key starters.
The two teams will meet tonight at 6:30 at Fairmont State University’s Duvall-Rosier Field.
“I think the kids are excited,” East Fairmont Junior High coach Mick Delaney said. “We’ve got some key injuries coming into this game, but we’re excited to play them.”
