FAIRMONT — Fairmont Senior quarterback Logan Moore has another honor to add to his shelf.
In addition to having his name thrown around for the Kennedy Award — given to the state’s top prep player — Moore was named the ESPN Rise Regional Player of the Week for the East.
ESPN Rise (www.espnrise.com) is the network’s Web site dedicated to high school sports across the nation. Every week the site chooses five players from five different regions to honor as Players of the Week.
Moore’s performance against Wheeling Park, where he accounted for 461 yards of total offense and seven of the Polar Bears’ eight touchdowns, caught national attention.
