FAIRMONT —
East Fairmont’s Jesse Roman leveled his competition during the Big 10 Conference championship last week at Lewis County High School.
Because of his dominance on the mat and his performance against Preston’s Terrance Fanning, Roman earned his third straight conference championship.
As a result, he was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler and improved his season record to 47-0.
For his efforts, Roman is the latest Times West Virginian Multi-Media Good Sports Player of the Week.
East Fairmont will be back in action Friday when it heads to the Armory for regionals.
