Polar Bears run away from East, 75-32

PLEASANT VALLEY — Fairmont Senior’s boys’ basketball team wasted no time with East Fairmont the second time around.

The Polar Bears started fast and ran away with the East-West game Thursday, winning 75-32.

FSHS made 10 3-pointers, including five in the fourth quarter from Jarin Hilson, and held the Bees to single-digit scoring in the first three quarters.

Hilson and DeVante Waites both had 20 to lead the Bears, and Travon Horton finished with 18.

East was paced by John Manchin with nine.
