Residents in Mannington may be noticing a building being built along Main Street.
It’s the new Moose Lodge being built five months after the old one burned down.
Becky Yoho, secretary of the Mannington Moose Lodge, said many members including herself were heartbroken to see the old building burn to the ground but are excited to see the new lodge being built.
Yoho said the new lodge is being built on the same property that the old one sat on. The building will be one story instead of two.
“It’ll be beautiful on the outside,” she said. “It won’t be as big as the other building, but it’ll be right back where it was.”
