FAIRMONT —
For many residents living in Idamay and the Carolina area, it’s been a long time coming, according to Marion County Commission President Randy Elliott.
Everything is now in order, and funding in the form of grants and loans is in place for the start of the Greater Marion Public Service District (PSD) sewer line replacement project. Commissioners approved of the adoption of resolutions and other documents pertaining to the $3.6 million project on Wednesday morning.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Elliott said. “I’m glad we’re at this point, and no one wants it to see more than those people.”
