FAIRMONT — At the age of 7, Brogan Raddish got to go on her dream trip to Disney World, courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Seven years later, Brogan will be giving back to Make-A-Wish in an event that she will combine with her love of horses as she carries the flag atop her trusty bay Chesapeake during opening ceremonies tonight of the Dodge Round-Up World Championship Rodeo at 4T Arena on Corbin Branch Road off W.Va. 73.
Brogan’s aunt, Trina Cutright, helped coordinate Brogan’s participation. Cutright is a member of the Make-A-Wish board of directors, and her former husband, Jeff Tucker, co-owns 4T Arena.
“She’s never missed a rodeo since she was born,” Cutright said of her niece, the daughter of her brother, Mark Raddish, and his ex-wife, Marci Raddish. “She’s been out there her whole life around horses.”
