Spring Festival features Davisson Brothers Band

By Debra Minor Wilson

BUNNER RIDGE — A yearly tradition will once again take place June 20 when the West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Inc. hosts its annual Spring Festival.

This year’s 29th annual event will feature The Davisson Brothers Band and other local talent.

This fundraiser for the Hall of Fame will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a yard sale of donated items from members and the community. The sale will take place under the pavilion next to the music hall and will go on throughout the day, said Bill Janoske, president.

Music will start at 1 p.m. inside the music hall, with local talent all afternoon.

The main show will begin at 4 p.m. with regional talent: The Modern Day Outlaws, Leo McMillen with Del and Noreen, Betty Jo Heater and the Countryairs, plus the Round-Up house band.

The main attraction, The Davisson Brothers Band, will play at 7 and 9 p.m.

Based in Clarksburg, The Davisson Brothers Band released its debut CD, “The Davisson Brothers Band,” in March. The album features the singles “Big City Hillbilly” and “Foot Stompin’” and is issued on CharTunes/Yell Records, distributed in the United States and Canada by E1 Entertainment Distribution.
