PLEASANT VALLEY —
A fire Wednesday afternoon in Pleasant Valley left a house as “a total loss,” according to responders.
No one was injured in the fire.
According to 911 dispatch records, the fire at Parkside Drive was reported around 4:45 p.m. Valley Volunteer Fire Department assistant chief David Shields said when firefighters arrived, there was a lot of smoke coming out of the attic.
He said the cause of the fire is believed to have been electrical in nature. To gain access to the attic area, firefighters had to cut multiple holes in the roof.
