Shop ’n Save to host grand opening

Ribbon cutting, giveaways planned at East Side store

FAIRMONT — What better way to celebrate ringing in the new year than a grand opening celebration for a store one community has been waiting years for?

At 9 a.m. Thursday, store owner Tom Jamieson will welcome customers with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Other activities will include in-store demonstrations, sampling of signature items from every department and giveaways — from PlayStation 3s to West Virginia University men’s basketball tickets.
