FAIRMONT — A big family with a giant loving heart has been named Times West Virginian Family of the Year.
Bill and Cindy Masters are the proud parents of three biological children and two adopted children, and they have cared for a legion of foster children.
“Our ministry is taking care of children; children who don’t have the opportunity to have someone love them, to have a home of their own, or a bed or clothes of their own,” Cindy said.
During the past few weeks, the Times West Virginian has been collecting nominations and tabulating votes to determine who best represents the spirit of family for Marion County in 2009.
