FAIRMONT — Everything is in readiness for the Christmas Toy Shop giveaway Friday — an event that will last from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
It’s an event being planned so “every kid can have a good Christmas.”
Groups will be admitted by the first letter of their last name. The schedule is:
Q-Z —8 to 10 a.m.
I-P — 10 a.m. to noon.
A-H — Noon to 2 p.m.
The committee wanted people to understand that the bigger items, bikes, easy set-up pools, extra-large stuffed animals, and several top-ticket games will be auctioned off at the end of the day with the winners called to come back and pick them up.
