FAIRMONT — There will be something besides toys to be given away at the Christmas Toy Shop on Friday.
Dogs and cats! Puppies and kittens!
The Marion County Humane Society has joined forces with the Toy Shop committee and will have animals for giveaway on Friday to needy Marion County youngsters.
“The veterinarians have helped tremendously on this to get animals ready for giveaway. Most have been vaccinated and have been spayed or neutered,” said Bobby Brock, president of the Marion County Humane Society. “The shelter will be closed that day so everyone can be helping with the giveaway.”
