Two sent to hospital following multi-vehicle accident

FAIRMONT — A multi-vehicle accident on Country Club Road Friday sent two individuals to the hospital.

According to Officer Brian Shuck from the Fairmont Police Department, the incident happened at about 11 a.m. between Lawrence and Worthington streets, which is about 200 or 300 yards apart, and involved three vehicles.

He said one of the vehicles ended up flipping over and landed on its top. Two drivers were transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, one of which was flown by HealthNet.
