Health department clinic set Tuesday

By Mary Wade Burnside

FAIRMONT — H1N1 (swine) flu vaccinations for students with signed permission slips will continue Monday in two Marion County schools, and another clinic will be held Tuesday at the Marion County Health Department for people ages 25 to 64 with a high risk of complications from the virus.

On Monday morning, health officials will inoculate students at Pleasant Valley Elementary School, said Gary L. Price, assistant superintendent of Marion County Schools.

“Following that, we should be going to White Hall Elementary,” he said. “We should be there about 12:30.”

Whether or not any school vaccine clinics will be held Tuesday remains to be seen, Price said.
