MANNINGTON — Nearly everyday, former Mannington Mayor Frank White says he steps out of his Windy Hill Drive residence to find significant amounts of birds migrating on and around his home and property.
White explained that his neighbor, current City Councilman Jeff Michael, has been putting out food for the birds for about five months. And in that time White said it has become a significant nuisance.
And despite statements from Mayor Bob Garcia that Michael has been talked to and has since ceased this activity, White said the problem has not stopped.
