‘Build it, keep it, share it’

Students learn variety of skills through program

FAIRMONT — They’re building better futures, and computers.

A group of at-risk youth is working hard this week at the Build It, Keep It, Share It (BIKISI) program. It’s an effort spearheaded by the Region VI Workforce Investment Board that’s taking place at the Marion County Adult and Community Education Center.

Barbara DeMary, executive director of Region VI, said programs like this are an important part of what the group does. Since it receives federal funding, Region VI must perform some educational programs for youth, but the BIKISI program is going that extra mile.
