BARRACKVILLE — Thousands of dollars worth of property was stolen in a crime spree Monday that targeted a church, school and residence.
Police Chief Arnold Triplett said suspects broke into the Barrackville School, Barrackville United Methodist Church and a home on College Street. The thieves stole computer parts including a monitor, tower and a couple of laptops from the various places robbed.
Triplett said thieves also nabbed a safe with rare expensive antique coins inside.
He estimated the total value of the heist to be more than $10,000.
