Joe Feltz serves city as Public Works director

FAIRMONT — Mary Kyle was visiting here from her home in Florida and there were some weed problems and pothole problems in the street in front of her house here.

“I called him and he said he would fix it himself,” she said. “He’s a prize guy. Joe Feltz came early that morning I had called him. He sure did fix things up. ... My eyesight is going bad and I didn’t want to have a fear of falling.”

Mary says, “He knows the streets are in need of being paved. And we all know that money is tight. I can appreciate people like that. And even though we live in Florida most of the time, Fairmont is still our home.”
