East schools praised, describe needs

PLEASANT VALLEY — The Marion County Board of Education told the schools in the East Fairmont High School attendance area to keep up the good work during Wednesday night’s Local School Improvement Council session.

This meeting, held at East Fairmont High School, was a chance for representatives within the East attendance area to tell the board about the recent happenings at their schools and where they have needs.

The Rev. James Saunders, president of the board of education, said the board will discuss the issues that were brought up during budget time.
