College Goal Sunday set Feb. 10 at 23 locations

FSU, Pierpont to host events

FAIRMONT — Enrolling in a college or university requires several steps to both the application and financial aid processes, and the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission is here to help.

The WVHEPC will be hosting College Goal Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at 23 different locations across the state. Anyone looking to enroll in post-secondary education this fall can receive assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by attending this event.

“That includes anybody that is graduating high school this year and will be going to college for the first time, anybody re-enrolling in the fall or any adults who are thinking about going back to school,” Jessica Kennedy, the assistant director of communication for the WVHEPC, said.
