FAIRMONT —
A short pursuit Friday morning led to two arrests by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies arrested Kendrell Raynard Pugh, 23, of 300 Cove St., Clarksburg, and Al-Teric Ahmodd Garrett, 21, of 188 Flynn St., Clarksburg, on charges of fleeing while DUI and felon in possession of a firearm, respectively.
According to criminal complaints, deputies saw Pugh’s car swerving from lane to lane on Jackson Street in Fairmont. After seeing the lights and sirens, Pugh allegedly turned on his turn signal, giving deputies the indication that he would pull over.
Instead, the complaint says, he continued onto Locust Avenue, passing numerous places to pull over, and turned onto Gladden Street, which he reportedly followed until the road ended.
