MANNINGTON — More families will be helped in Mannington through a generous donation to the Mannington Food Pantry.
On Tuesday, First Exchange Bank in Mannington donated $1,000 to the pantry. Marlene Lucas, retail services manager of First Exchange, said the donation was in memory of the late Dr. Leo F. “Doc” Modi.
“It’s from the directors and employees of First Exchange Bank,” she said.
Modi was a director at the bank for more than 40 years and served on the board of directors of the bank. He passed away early in December.
