Faith is more than just a word to former Fairmont resident and Queen B fashion line designer Beth Keener.
It’s something you do, and it’s something she lives by every single day in her work.
“Faith is a verb,” she said. “It definitely requires prayer, but it also requires getting up off your butt and doing a whole lot of work.”
For years, she has done just that, working hard to establish herself in the competitive art world with her fashion line. While she spends numerous hours in her parents’ basement, creating handmade clutches, or works at a small boutique in Winchester, Va., she doesn’t leave any weight on her shoulders. Instead, she prays.

Andy Niessner is a single, divorced dad with two daughters, Drea, 7, and Charlotte, 4. He splits custody of them with his ex-wife. They’re with him every other week. -

For 30 year-old single father Brian Conn, his 2-year-old twin sons Mathew and Austin are his world.
Although he has shared custody, Conn thinks about his sons all the time.
“I get them on the weekends,” he said. “It’s the best part of my week when I get to see them.” -

A mobile wall honoring the 732 servicemen from West Virginia who were POWs, MIAs and KIAs from that conflict will be revealed Saturday at Veterans’ Square. -
