EFHS senior Blosser vying for House seat

State politics has long been his passion

FAIRMONT — In the first election that 18-year-old East Fairmont High School senior Travis Blosser will vote in, he will also have the chance to check a box next to his own name.

Blosser, a Republican, is vying for one of the three open seats in the House of Delegates representing Marion County in the 43rd District, which he said he has been planning on doing for a while.

“It’s been a passion of mine from a very young age,” Blosser said of getting into state politics.

“I believed that my goal in life was to just serve people in any way possible. This was the way I saw I could start it out,” he added. “I see a lot of things not happening in Charleston that need to be happening in the state. So I put my hat in the ring to voice my opinions on the matter and let the voters decide.”
