Bond committee to meet public

‘We’ll go as many places as we can’

FAIRMONT — The Marion County Citizens for the Bond Committee is ready get out in the community and share information about the proposed school bond.

On Wednesday evening, committee members gathered at the Marion County Chamber of Commerce’s office in downtown Fairmont to move foward with their efforts to promote the bond to voters.

They have scheduled times to meet with different groups in the coming weeks to provide the facts, hand out brochures and answer questions about the bond.

On Monday, Oct. 8, representatives from the committee will give presentations during an open meeting at Monongah Town Hall at 6:30 p.m., at a Tea Party forum at the Marion County Senior Center at 6:30 p.m., and at the White Hall council meeting at 7 p.m.
