Four sentenced in cocaine case; firearms plea accepted

FAIRMONT — Last week, U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley sentenced four members of a Morgantown-based “crack” cocaine distribution ring and accepted a federal firearms plea from a Fairmont man.

According to a press release issued by U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II, these four individuals have been delivered various prison sentences in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg for possession and distribution of “crack” cocaine after entering guilty pleas over the past several months.

These individuals and sentences are: 25-year-old Morgantown resident Nashuan “City” Jackson, 21 months for one count of distribution; 35-year-old Uniontown, Pa., resident Michael “Mike-Mike” Jones, 70 months for one count of possession with intent to distribute more than five grams; 22-year-old Uniontown resident Quashawn “Quay” Preister, 40 months for one count of possession with intent to distribute; and 31-year-old Morgantown resident Billy Joe Loveridge, 60 months for one count of distribution.
