FAIRMONT —
The recent closure of C.J. Maggie’s restaurant was a topic of discussion at Tuesday’s Fairmont City Council meeting.
Council members expressed their concern and disappointment over the loss of the restaurant. Council member Bob Gribben said that he believes it is within the role of city council to investigate the issue.
“We know that the communities to the north and south of us are making progress,” Gribben said. “We don’t have that entrepreneurial spirit here, and we’ve got to figure it out somehow. It behooves council to be the vehicle to do that.”
