WHITE HALL —
Concerns that were addressed earlier this year during a Marion County Commission meeting will be discussed once again.
A number of traffic accidents have been reported at the White Hall/South Fairmont Interchange, which makes safety in the area a concern. Reports show there were 103 traffic accidents last year between May 1 and Dec. 31.
When the issue was initially brought up, county commissioners signed a resolution to show their support regarding finding a solution for the predicament.
During Monday’s council meeting in the Town of White Hall, Mayor Jesse Corley said he anticipates meeting with the Division of Highways in the near future to discuss the DOH’s recommendations for that area.
