BRIDGEPORT —
After interviewing four engineering firms Monday, North Central West Virginia Airport Authority member Roger Diaz selected Thrasher Engineering to work with them.
“It was quite a day,” Diaz said during Wednesday’s Airport Authority meeting. “They were all impressive. Any one of them could have done a stellar job.”
In the end, however, they decided on Thrasher, a firm that is bringing an airport planner with the utmost experience. With the highest recommendations from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the planner has worked throughout the world. He is also an independent contractor.
