FAIRMONT —
Jayenne Elementary will be hosting a fundraiser to purchase rubber mulch for its Big Back Yard project.
Jennifer Jenkins, vice president of Jayenne’s Parent Teacher Organization, said a spaghetti dinner will be held Sunday in the school’s cafeteria. Dinners are available for eat-in or carry-out, and tickets must be purchased in advance or reserved. The dinner will be prepared by members of the PTO and volunteers.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase 30 tons of rubber mulch, which principal Scott Morris said is important to the safety of the school’s 310 students.
