An area doctor has been charged by federal court with 23 felonies related to the operation of his dermatology practice in Bridgeport.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II of the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia announced that Dr. Allen George Saoud, 58, of Clarksburg, has been indicted on multiple counts of health care fraud by devising a scheme to defraud Medicare and Medicaid.
