FAIRMONT —
Fairmont City Council met Tuesday evening and called for an executive session.
According to Mayor William Burdick, the purpose of the session was to set goals for improved communication between council and City Manager Jay Rogers.
“That way, as we go forward, we will be able to stay away from abstract goals and we’ll get to the point where we can see if we are making progress or not making progress,” Burdick said.
Council discussed holding monthly work sessions as one way to address the need for better communication.

New after-school project pursued
