One of the defense attorneys for the Marion County woman charged with first-degree murder of her father may be removed from the case.
Marion County Prosecuting Attorney Patrick Wilson is petitioning that Holly Turkett be taken from the case against Kristyn Palmer because of possible violations of attorney-client privilege.
She countered that her communication with a potential state’s witness has been “very limited.”
Turkett is representing Palmer in the shooting death of her father, Everett “Eddie” Wilson, on Dec. 11, 2011. She has also represented Albert Tichenor, who will be a state’s witness in the trial, set to begin Sept. 24.
Wilson said this violates the American Bar Association’s rule 1.9, which governs client-lawyer relationship. She countered that it does not.

Hearing set for murder suspects
