A Rivesville man was arrested Tuesday by Rivesville police and charged with one felony count each of malicious wounding, grand larceny and daytime burglary.
According to the criminal complaint filed at the Marion County Magistrate Court, Michael Steven Hayes, 18, of 527 Hayhurst St., Rivesville, was identified as the suspect seen prowling behind houses on Halderman Street and then running and jumping a fence.
Chief Michael Daff of the Rivesville Police Department, according to the complaint, saw the suspect drop an envelope by a trailer near the fence. The envelope contained $7,508.
