A Fairmont man appeared in Marion County Magistrate Court Wednesday afternoon for a preliminary hearing on seven counts of felony wanton endangerment and two of felony animal cruelty charges.
Appearing before Magistrate Missy Pride, 28-year-old Charles Earl Jones III of Worthington waived his right to the hearing.
His bond was also cut in half, from $100,000 to $50,000 cash/surety for all charges.
According to the criminal complaint filed at Marion County Magistrate Court, Jones was arrested Jan. 20 for allegedly shooting two dogs belonging to his sister and brother-in-law.
