If his entrance into the world is any kind of precursor, Liam Lee Mercer, born Jan. 2, will be able to add “punctual” to his list of personal qualities on a future job resume.
Perfectly on time according to his expected due date, Liam was welcomed into the world at 8:51 p.m. Wednesday.
“He could’ve been a New Year’s baby,” his mother, Brandi Vingino, said.
He just barely missed the cut, but he was still the first baby born at Fairmont General Hospital in 2013. One other mother gave birth at FGH early Wednesday morning, following Liam’s lead.
